parking: there are a number of car parks available at temple newsam for visitors, most of which have designated disabled parking bays.

walled garden - limited disabled access spaces are available directly outside the walled garden.

house car park - close to House and within easy walking distance to the Stable Courtyard and Home Farm, this car park has ample flat parking and is patrolled. Please note that charges apply except for blue badge holders.

home farm car park - this large free car park is close to home farm, the walled gardens and the grounds.

the lodge car park - a small car park close to the north plantation.

stable courtyard - very limited disabled parking with preference given to people who have pre-booked electric scooters.

relief car park - this large free car park is a short uphill walk to the main attractions, but close to a large playing field.

coaches are advised to park in the house car park.
